With the move to the new mail server, which began in August of 2020, forwarding is no longer supported for ConnectNC.net, Pinehurst.net, and ConnectNC.com email addresses. If you have used forwarding in the past, we apologize for the change in policy.
Forwarding to several third party providers such as gmail caused the domain reputation to decline, which meant fewer messages were accepted for delivery. This affected all users, not just those whose messages were being forwarded. It meant that mail was bouncing or ending up in recipient spam folders.
You can set up gmail, for example, to check your pinehurst.net or other email account by following these directions (supplied by gmail).
